Tokyo Techies  (https://tokyotechies.com ) is a tech company that provides One-stop IT consulting and business software solutions for enterprises. We support the realization of digital transformation by providing robust products and services with world-class speed and quality.

We are looking for a Japanese (ideally both Japanese and English) speaking project manager who could join us soon to handle our IT consulting and in-house product development projects. We will conduct the interview using Japanese.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage our project teams to maximize their capabilities to handle various types of consulting/ product development projects in AI, Software Development, Cyber security
  • Communicate with the clients to gather initial project/product requirements and turn them into implementable specifications
  • Work closely with our engineering teams to create project proposals with clear scope of work, expected deliverables, schedule and cost
  • Keep track of technical tasks and make the progress transparent to all stakeholders
  • Frequently propose ideas improvements based on client's review

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have:

  • Excellent communication skills in Japanese (top priority) and English (second priority)
  • At least 5 years of experience in software project management, risk management
  • In-depth understanding about the software development lifecycle and risk management
  • Capabilities to manage Agile development projects (Scrum/ Kanban)
  • Flexible mindset and ability to learn fast

Nice to have:

  • Practical skills in business analysis and software development

WORK LOCATION:

Ueno, Taito, Tokyo, Japan (Headquarter) or Kobe, Hyogo, Japan

Remote work is always acceptable at Tokyo Techies given that you always actively work with the team and deliver the expected results.

CONTRACT TYPE:

Full-time Contract Employee or Full-time Regular Employee (only for those who are in Japan or going to relocate to Japan)

Employee and Client Referral Bonus
