Job Details

We are looking for a Front End Engineer based in Tokyo who could join us soon to handle long term product development projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the Project Manager, designer and development team daily to plan and deliver a wide range of projects. (e.g. through coding, creating unit tests, etc.).
  • Implement UI with designers and back-end developers
  • Review and give feedback on UI design plan
  • Implement web front-end with JavaScript/HTML/CSS
  • Make UI components with designers
  • Share your contributions and opinions as part of our working environment and take on constructive feedback.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Must have:

  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • At least 1 year of experience developing responsive web applications
  • Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like LESS or SASS
  • Deep understanding of javascript frameworks like React, Vue, or AngularJS
  • Team development experience with CI services, e.g. Git
  • Accessibility, internationalization, or localization.
  • Strong UI/UX sensibility and an interest in sweating small stuff
  • Motivation to learn new techniques continuously
  • Flexible mindset and ability to learn fast
  • Good communication skills in Japanese and English

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the following technologies

  - Docker   - ERP System   - AWS   - Mobile development with React native, Android Studio or Xcode

  • Backend skills (python, java, etc.)
  • Experience writing automated tests (e.g. unit or integration tests)
