Job Details

We are looking for a senior full-stack Python engineer with experience in Odoo who could join us soon to handle long term product development projects. Lack of experience in Odoo can be compromised with the ability to learn Odoo fast and seniority in Python development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Join the team to fully develop new features for our ERP platform using Odoo framework
  • Optimize the performance of the system
  • Avoid cyber security risks right from design and development phases
  • Review code and support junior engineers

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

For Backend, must have:

  • Solid understanding of Odoo MVC (Models, Views, Controllers)
  • Understanding of Odoo JavaScript framework (QWeb or OWL)
  • Confidence using PostgreSQL

For Frontend, must have:

  • Solid understanding and extensive experience with JavaScript
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, Svelte, etc.
  • Experience with Nodejs backend like ExpressJS
  • Experience with RESTFUL APIs, HTML5, CSS

Communication:

  • Must have: Ability to communicate smoothly in English

Nice to have:

  • At least one year of experience in Odoo development
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Typescript
  • Documentation skills
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum development
  • Team management experience
  • Code reading comprehension

LOCATION

Tokyo or Remote. In case of remote, a time zone within 4 hours of Japan will be preferred.

WORKING TIME

Flexible, with core time from 10 AM – 3 PM everyday.
