Position Overview

We are seeking a mid-level DevOps Engineer with a passion for building robust and automated systems. If you have a solid background in AWS, IaC, containerization, and CI/CD, this position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your skills and contribute to cutting-edge projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management
   
   • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
2. CI/CD Pipeline Development
   
   • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
3. Containerized Application Management
   
   • Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
4. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
   
   • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources.
5. System Monitoring & Troubleshooting
   
   • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of services.
6. Security Implementation
   
   • Implement security best practices, including managing secrets and network security.
7. Collaboration & Efficiency
   
   • Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
8. Documentation
   
   • Document processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference.

  • Kubernetes: Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes.
  • Helm: Experience with Helm for packaging and deploying applications to Kubernetes.
• CI/CD:
  
  • ArgoCD: Hands-on experience with continuous delivery using ArgoCD.
  • Github Actions or similar tools like Jenkins
• Other:
  
  • Experience with Bastion hosts and VPN.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Prometheus.

• Japanese language ability (business level): Those with business-level Japanese language ability will be given an edge
• LLM Monitoring tools like Langfuse
• Experience Managing AWS Control Tower/Landing Zone

Work Location

• Tokyo Techies headquarters in Higashi-Ueno, Taito-ku, Tokyo
• Partial remote work is available

Working Hours

• Full-Time: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (flexible or reduced hours are negotiable)

Employment Type

Compensation (for Full-Time Employees)

• Base Salary: Determined based on experience and skills
• Performance Bonus: Paid every six months
